N1 Critical Technologies (lithium-ion-ups.com) has announced the launch of all new three-phase Lithium-Ion-based uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, becoming one of the first companies in North America to offer such a product.
The Janesville, Wisconsin-based manufacturer anticipates introducing the new NE-Series 20 kVA and 30 kVA units in the second quarter of 2018.
These are the higher-capacity “big brother” to N1C’s state-of-the-art lithium-based single-phase UPS models launched earlier this year. They use stable and safe “Lithium Iron” battery chemistry, often called “LiFePO4” (lithium-iron phosphate).
With a single internal battery, the three-phase units in the NE-Series feature run times of up to 13 minutes at 100-percent load in the 20 kVA models and up to 8 minutes in the 30 kVA models.
The new NE-Series models — and the 13 models that make up the N1C L-Series and XL-Series single-phase units — use battery chemistry that is safety-tested, stable and provides superior thermal operation, allowing the UPS systems to run efficiently in more extreme environments (32º to 140º vs. 32º to 104º for comparable lead acid systems).
All N1C UPS models offer online, double-conversion technology, delivering a pure and steady stream of clean power, even during blackouts, brownouts, spikes, surges, and sags.
Both NE-Series three-phase units also features an upgraded “P” model, which offers advanced no-master-slave parallel technology for additional installation and configuration options.
Monitor and control the units via an intuitive touchscreen LED display or with included software.
With a 10-year to 15-year expected operational life, they last up to three-times as long as the Valve Regulated Lead (VRLA) batteries they are designed to replace, and weigh less, increasing installation options and ease.
The NE-Series is backed by N1C’s industry-leading lifetime electronics warranty and 10-year battery warranty. If a UPS fails under the warranty, simply let N1 Critical Technologies know and a new unit is sent directly to the customer.
